My other computer does not have a floppy drive in order to download the boot disks since I don't have the XP CD. Any thoughts? If you get a blue screen, that probably means the MBR or GPT successfully loaded and it failed to complete boot-up. Thankyou very much mate!!!! check over here

It was a bit of a challenge because my OS is in Japanese! In Windows 8, press Windows+X and select Device Manager from the list. I do still have a Dell Mini 10 that doesn't have a cd or dvd drive, that has the same issue, but maybe I will try hooking up my portable drive
