Did all that - had 15months of continual problems with my Asus computer - In the end Asus gave me an RMA for a full refund - just unfortunate that I solved Computer shutting off without warning, after about 15-30 minutes of being on. I've run the Dell diagnostics tool found within the Bios on a couple of occasions & it hasn't come up with any errors. whather on battery or with Ac does not seem to affect it, temperature is Ok. I reduced the processor max to 80% and downclocked my gfx card (NVIDIA 425m) 1 notch using Nvidia Inspector. Cheers!
