Reply Richard February 21, 2015 at 7:08 pm I just now fixed my "Internet Explorer has stopped working" error message that occurred every time IE was started, rendering IE unusable. I've had issues with CD-ROM drive disappearing and other unexplained periodic issues; all cured after a full reboot. I have also unchecked the Adobe Flash section as I read this also somewhere. Then re-check it and apply again.
I used the Windows Installer Wizard and followed the instructions on the screen.
