The Fat32formatter worked great and I ended up with a Fat32 partition at 930GB. If the XP is the original release with no service packs (sometimes called XP Gold) then the smaller limitation will apply unless you make a slipstream disc incorporating the service pack. Most come pre-formatted as a single partition.
