Scan computer (not in safe mode)If there are any viruses then AVG will definitely catch them. I know this because I moved two image files into drop box and within minutes my other laptop jumped to 100% memory use also. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
I booted in safe mode and tried running AVG scan. I used malwarebytes in safe mode and got rid of everything it found. Try running kaspersky anti virus, even just the trial version.
